New York Fashion Week S/S 2011: Proenza Schouler

Designers: Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez

Inspiration/Theme: Proper femininity on an acid trip.

Color Palate: Ivory, mauve, beige, ecru, salmon, light blue, gray, office green, sapphire blue, crimson, black, and sulfur yellow.

Notable Pieces: The chunky necklaces, the bags, the eroded "lace" garments, and the comely tweed pieces.

Final Thought: Proenza Schouler's classic with a corrosive tinge collection for Spring has (like all their collections past) left their following gibbering at the sheer level of cool that has once more been produced.
