David Neville and Marcus Wainwright took their girls mountain climbing for Rag & Bone's S/S 2011 collection. From the "harness-bra", the numerous clips and fastenings, the splint-like mid-thigh tights, a pair of drawstring shorts, the breathable mesh paneling, there were a couple loose net skirts, even the models' hair looked sweaty and were pulled back into messy buns. Rag and Bone's latest body of work did not deviate from its mountaineer theme in any regard. The collection's color palate followed this sporty theme as well; there were pieces in scarlet; copious amounts of Dodger-blue, white, nude, and black; a few garments looked as though they were made from survival-blanket material; and one standalone trench in a deep mustard. All in all, a well executed and imaginative collection; however, I do question it's overall wearability to a degree.
